Christina Martinez is a 24-year-old Bronx native with a troubled son and a low paying job at K-Mart. When she goes on an OKCupid date with George, an eccentric guitar teacher, he makes her a bizarre offer that could improve her situation. At first she declines. But when the father of her child arrives with an urgent demand, she has no choice but to accept George's offer and attempt to change her life.
